Application: ammonium molybdenum acid, intended for production of wires, rods, strips, tapes, for catalysts for hydrotreating, the production of electric lamp equipment, especially pure molybdenum and solid alloys, as well as in the production of premixes for the addition of the molybdenum trace element in the feed. In the oil industry, it is used for desulphurization or the production of hydrogenation catalysts, in metallurgy for the production of tapes, sheets, powder.
In agriculture, it is used as a microadditive molybdenum. Molybdenum ammonium is used mainly for pre-sowing of seeds. At the norm of seeds per 1 m2, only 3-5 mg of molybdenum ammonium is consumed. For non-root feeding (spraying plants), a 0.01-0.03% solution is used. It is mainly used for legumes.
