Chromel NX 9.5 is an alloy consisting of the following elements: Cr (8.7-10%); Ni (89-91%); impurities Si, Cu, Mn, Co. Density of alloy chromel 8710 kg / m3, melting point of alloy
chromel 1400-1500 °C, temperature coefficient of linear expansion of the alloy
chromel 12.8·10-6 °C-1, specific electrical resistance of chromel alloy
0.66 micrometres. Chromel alloy makes wire for thermocouples.
